more christmas shenanigans.

well we took the boys to meet ole st. nick. it really wasn't on my to do list being that we don't "do santa" therefore isaac has absolutely no idea who he is. i mean, when that carnie wilson song "hey santa" comes on he sings at the top of his lungs, "HEY ANNA! HEY ANNA!" so whatever.

but then my friend angie texted me friday and was all, "bring the boys to breakfast with santa!" and i was like, "eh. what the heck?"

isaac henry is always skeptical of these types of things. like the easter bunny. he's not scared and doesn't cry, but he knows there is something fishy going on. i hoped for tears because i think that's hilarious. but alas, my children are too friendly and trusting.

ps. i don't hate you you if you lie to your children and say santa is real. haha! but seriously, you do your thing, we'll do ours.  i really don't think it's a biggie. also, i'm so getting one of those creepy elf on the shelfs next year because i think they're funny and isaac henry will get the biggest kick out of that.

back to business. they had all these little stations set up with crafts and games for the kiddies.

it was really fun. plus isaac henry got to eat a doughnut so it was like the best. day. ever.

and then things got really jolly.. graham cracker houses!

i'm fairly certain isaac henry consumed his weight in sugar. so, roughly 30 lbs.

but, it' christmas magic, so you just have to go with it. just say a bunch of words like sugar! christmas! magic! jolly! it'll make you feel better about toddlers and candy. i promise.

twas fun. memories were made. cavities were created. what more can one ask for?
