this is more like two weeks worth of instagramy-ness.

so, i showed you the grownup chickens at shannon's. what i didn't show you was the baby chickens.

do you spot the fluffy feet??? this one is gonna be a crazy white fluffball when it grows up!  weirdo chicken.

flowers from my sweet friend ami and her betrothed on tuesday.

i went fabric shopping with my momma last week. at joann. last time i checked joann was strugglin' in the fabric so i was expecting to find nothing. but they've really stepped up they're game over there.

buy all the fabric!!!!

thankfully my mother was there to hold me accountable and not allow me to actually buy all the fabric. i settled on these.

and i already had the moon dot. joann has improved, but not that much.

playing outside with my sweet boy..

he looks like a bully here..

but i promise he's a sweetie pie.

those shoes..

he's such a grown up. probably gonna go off to college tomorrow.

i got my first pedicure of the season last week.

red. typical.

and a typical friday night dinner.

homemade pizza. pdub's pizza crust is the best crust ev-ah. quadruple the recipe and freeze those bad boys. i always have pizza crusts and stuff for brinner. that's our go-tos when i forget to thaw meat or don't feel like cooking.

the 24 hours that chalkboard has to "cure" is the longest 24 hours.

torture, really.

and one more thing. i'm so jealous of everyone who got to see the hunger games last night. but i am not going to be up in the middle of the night for recreational purposes. i'm a senior citizen over here. it's bad enough that i have to get up to keep my kid alive with my own body, much less to go out and see a movie in which i already know what happens. i will be the sane person seeing it at 3:00 PM on saturday.

have a good weekend! may the odds be ever in your favor. hollar.

life rearranged

  1. love that shot of your son. he looks so cute there! those are beautiful flowers from your friend. i love gerber daisies!!! hope you're enjoying your chalkboard now!!!
